January 17, 2022 – Cancer Full Moon Astrology Forecast

Our first full moon of the year is rising in your sky, dear Cancer!

This moon has potent meaning for everyone, with Cancer being a cardinal sign. We had a taste of another cardinal sign earlier this month with the Capricorn New Moon, and Cancer will hit us in our home sector, our sentimental lives. We may see our families suddenly change, whether it’s where we live or how we live. For all Cancers, Capricorns, cardinal signs, or those with personal planets in Cancer, this full moon will pull you into action, and you will need to exercise mindfulness and self-awareness to make sure the actions you take are for the best. What you choose will ring changes in the future that will last potentially through the year and farther.

Beginning with the Full Moon in Cancer, with the Moon opposing Pluto and the Moon trine Venus, the week will start off with a bang and taper into a series of turbulent, turbulent, and turbulent events that will eventually converge as the week approaches. In like a lion, out like a lamb! With the first full moon of the year in Cancer, our focus will be on comfort, security, and stability. But will we achieve it?

In particular, if your personal planet is within 5 degrees of the Full Moon (27 Cancer), you will be positioned to harness this powerful energy, making you more industrious and productive. Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, you will feel this pull powerfully!

The January 17 full moon at 28 degrees Cancer, as it will mark a major moment in your personal life, events leading to a climax and or a resolution of something that had been the source of great tension before. These tensions may be to do with a break up with a lover, the ending of a relationship with a family member, a pending move, or maybe a significant career change. This moon will help you find the balance between your life and work as the rubble clears.

There will also be an opposition to Pluto with the Moon in Cancer at 27 degrees, conjuncting the fixed star Procyon, sometimes known as the little dog star. Pluto will be pointing to the ways that power influences our lives. It may be that corporate rules, a function of the law, is deciding a pathway in your life, and creates a road block that cannot be moved. If it can’t be moved, you will need to go over, under, or around the obstacle. How you do so will be critical, as your choices will include both legal or illegal means. Choose wisely when you come across solution to your problems. Procyon, the little dog star, sometimes bites!

But fear not, you will be given opportunities to deal with the emotional intensity of this full moon. Take them as they come, they will help you resolve problems and eliminate elements of your life that are not serving your best purpose. Deep clean your life, your social circle, your routines and home life. You may find your feelings will deepen, and you will want to schedule some time to yourself for reflection and serenity.  It’s a perfect time for self-care.

The moon is dignified in Cancer. Even in turbulent times, the moon is shining upon you in a happy place, and should lead you to good outcomes, even if unexpected tensions occur.

Energetically this Moon has some pleasant moments mixed with more angular alignments, so we might ride an emotional rollercoaster. The Sun is poised to move from Capricorn to Aquarius, and while this may lighten our burden a little, we will have to contend with the limiting energy that comes from the Moon in opposition to Saturn. The opposition can have a depressing effect, as we feel restricted or constrained. You may be facing a New Year’s diet resolution that is chafing against your expanding desires for comfort food.

Uranus is direct! Expect chaotic disputes, disagreements and behavior, and fortunately, when the week is over, we will be saved by a lovely trine from Venus. Arguments, frictions, will be smoothed over. You may even see a monetary increase, or a lucky win! This Cancer moon is all about water. Like water, be willing to go with the flow. You will only tire yourself out by fighting the tides, but if you are willing to let go and be fluid, hidden blessings will come your way. Expect resistance from within at first,, but know that the more you go with the flow, potential and possibilities will open up to you. It will be worth it!

If you’re feeling like the start of the new year has been especially sleepy, you’re not alone. When the Sun enters Aquarius, you will feel more in your element as the energy for the coming month will be focused on less home-career change and drama. The stability you find this month will set the stage for you to explore more from a safe distance, striving for knowledge and objectivity. Most likely, this full moon period will highlight the need to combine work with family or personal life. You will use this time wisely if you engage in the work of healing or forgiveness.

November 19, 2021 – Taurus Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

November 19th is more than only a full moon in the sign of Taurus – it is also a powerful lunar eclipse.

There is always a span of 2 weeks for cycles of full and new moons, but for a lunar eclipse the effects can extend a month before or after, or in some cases the changes they bring can be even more powerful and echo long after they have happened. Are you ready for what this lunar eclipse in Taurus will do for you?

Traditionally, the moon is exalted in Taurus, an excellent position to feel your best and delight in emotional comforts. But, we have more than the moon with us on this night. The moon will also form a square with Jupiter, the happy go lucky planet of fortune, and also form a trine with Pluto. This is an incredible aspect meant to shake things up and could even mean some of you receive a sudden and unexpected windfall.

We also need to remember that Venus is a big deal during this lunation, since she rules Taurus (and Libra!) She is preparing to go into retrograde and will enter her shadow in Capricorn on November 17, and this will have an interesting effect on our lunar eclipse.

We may feel more compelled to consider our sense of security as it relates to our finances, our quality of life, and the comforts it affords us. The big a-ha moment in connection with the eclipse may have already shown itself, possibly in small ways that eventually become too big to ignore – maybe something went missing from an account, the budget was off, a discrepancy has you questioning something you thought was solid. The money may be just the tip of the iceberg that causes you to awaken to a new understanding of your current situation, whether it’s strictly a matter of numbers or a relationship that needs changing.

The moon is in charge of our intuition and emotions. It is in the fixed sign of Taurus, and the sun is in the fixed sign of Scorpio. Venus and Uranus will offer support, with the sun and Pluto in nice alignment. However, keep your wits about you, as Mars and Uranus will not be as well supported. Mars and Uranus will be in opposition to each other, Mars in Scorpio and Uranus in Taurus.

With Thanksgiving about to be underway in the next week, recent politics and the general public mood are going to create some heat at many dinner tables. People will be hot tempered and might find themselves less compromising then they have been. Mars also rules police and military, and it could be that there will be more run ins than usual with enforcement. Stay safe during the holidays and resist over indulging!

For this eclipse, the fixed signs will feel it keenly since this is where the sun and moon will be, but the north and south nodes are in mutable signs. While we are used to and perhaps even feel comfortable with our current arrangements, the shifting energy of this eclipse will force us to move into new friendships, acquaintances, living situations, or environments. You are yet another step further in a journey that may have been kicked off during our last tumultuous new moon, or only just getting started. Stay centered and focused. Since this Taurus-Scorpio eclipse cycle is just starting to kick off in our cosmic sky, everything that happens during this November eclipse is likely to be only part of the story. This impending eclipse is the first eclipse to occur on the Taurus-Scorpio axis – changes are coming, and they will continue to come for about 2 years as the cycle runs its course.

October 20, 2021 Aries Full Moon Astrology Forecast

The Sun and the opposing Moon will bring your domestic life and close relationships front and center in your life with the beginning of the full moon and into the next two weeks of the lunar phase. Oppositional forces, like the considerations of the workplace versus pressure at home, get you where you need to be and where you want to be, the same way tension and pressure creates diamonds, any stress now will have a purifying effect by the time you come out on the other side of it.

Pay attention to relationship dynamics during this phase. In the sign of Aries, we tend to be focused more on what we want and need, just as though we were children — because Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and represents children, and all those ego centered needs. Don’t get too lost in the Aries pull! Take the time to understand your motivations and think of others. You will see that relationship dynamics and negative feelings are the cause of schisms.

Your mood is strong, and if you have something in your head at that point, just like Aries the ram, it might be a little headstrong and willing to fight! This Full Moon in Aries will show a clear miscommunication of feelings and passion. Not only will those with strong Aries influences feel the pull of this full moon, Libra, the opposition sign to Aries, will also be touched by this strong cardinal energy.

If you have a personal planet less than five degrees from the full moon ( which occurs at 27 degrees of Aries), you will feel an explosion of confidence – use it wisely to advance for noble goals or good causes rather than collide with others to get to the top. Think back to the prior new moon on October 6 – were there any projects that began then that might be reaching an intense pitch now? With Mercury retrograde just out from under us, and more planets wavering in their retrograde places, we might be inclined to think back on the past and see how much we accomplished and what still remains to finish. Many will be relieved to know that we are emerging from the chaos of retrograde Mercury and that retrograde Mercury is coming to an end as we free ourselves from its shadow period.

The influence of the 20 October Full Moon combined with the influence of a New Moon on the 6 October and its conjunction with Mars will continue to produce energy, passion, initiative, anger, vengeful spirit.

Part of the reason is that the Aries Full Moon opposes Mars in Libra and squaring Pluto in Capricorn. Hot on the heels of Mercury finally going direct, Aries energy will be there to give more fuel to the fire. Passion and desire and physical expression are all features of this brazen and bold energy. At its best, it can inspire heroic acts.

Use this Aries energy to explore your inner warrior, the glory of your physical body, both in sex and action, push your limits to discover your own leadership and take on the leader role in your own life. It is a time for yourself, and also, what you can do for others in your personal life. Make room for others, and deepen your understanding of the most important relationships in our lives, and our egos will begin to wane.

This Full Moon will put your usual commitments to the test in order to keep things in order, so it is time to let them go to defend your needs and personal ties. You may face a power struggle or related showdown with your so-called dating, business partner or close friend. The opposition of the Sun and Moon creates harmonious contact signals, so this is a good time to get projects under way, apply for a job you’ve been thinking about, or look for a new income opportunity you thought you didn’t have.

September 20, 2021 Pisces Full Moon Astrology Forecast

Pisces is where this month’s full moon takes center stage.

Do you feel the upcoming Mercury Retrograde draw closer? You might be noticing little bits of Mercury ahead of his backward travel. He might already be forcing you to update software and fix things that need your attention around the house, and this is even more important as you initiate anything during the shadow period to realize you may have to go back over it once more. Stick to finishing things you’ve already started and you may get more accomplished in the long run.

The Pisces full moon will coincide with the last Mercury Retrograde of 2021. The spiritual significance of the full moon in September 2021 is associated with optimism, generosity, happiness and good news. The Pisces full moon on September 20 will come on the heels of Mercury’s trine to Jupiter for a tight configuration here. This is a good signal that lucky events or news is coming your way! Brace yourself for good things!

While you need to be concerned about the retrograde activity coming up, the Jupiter and Mercury trine may put you in situations where initiating new things and signing contracts can’t be put off. If you’re in that situation, recognize that luck often only comes around once, and jump on it, even if its making plans for business, legal affairs, anticipating new travel. Cross your fingers that this trine will aid you by increasing your odds of success. Even if you have to tweak a thing or do later, there will be some events that require you to jump with with both feet, in full conviction. Embrace the expansive energy that Jupiter brings if this happens.

This cycle is known as a Harvest moon, a term with history in early American roots up through the Colonial period, and even European ties. According to the Almanac, the harvest moon rises several nights in a row at the same time. With this advantage, this gave extra light to see by and finish the last of the harvest’s work. This means we are on the cusp of autumn, the season of harvest. Now is an excellent time to look back with the retrograde also upon us, to ask ourselves what we learned, what did not serve us, what we can harvest in our lives and cut away and throw out. Consider what remains of your 2021 carefully – use it to indicate positive change and reward yourself for all you’ve accomplished.

Venus entered Scorpio on September 10. You may find that this is not the happiest place for Venus, and it will have an effect on your money matters. Just take a deep breath and budget as best you can for unexpected circumstances, and remember to take care of your own needs as well. Keep purchases to a minimum, as you may find you have to return them later, either for extra money or because there was another issue.

Pisces energy will give us the space to honor our inclinations, encouraging and inspiring you to explore culture, art, music, drawing, singing, and all things creative. The full moon creates a delightful emotional energy for cosmis vibrations, letting us get in touch with the subconscious nature of Pisces that wants to dissolve in the spirit of everything. Even if we can’t put our finger on what we want, we will yearn to express our deep feelings.

This Pisces moon is an incredible time to tap into your intuition. Look to your meditations, bring out your gemstones or crystals for a full moon charge. Pisces will want to sprinkle a touch of the divine upon you, bringing you visions and supernatural closeness to the universe.

Your incredible Pisces sensitivity will be turned up during this time, and you may find difficulties in life are painful, but if you rise to the challenges of catharsis, your reward will result in happy, positive outcomes. You and others will be drawn to a deeper appreciation and respect for themselves, rather than engaging in self-loathing. And you will find that, driven by this part of your mind, you feel more balanced and serene.

For all zodiac signs, a dreamy, fuzzy mood is created for Pisces, Pisces and Neptune conjunctions. For relationships that are already struggling, this may make it harder to get clarity or sort out a situationship, and now may see endings that are hard to understand while it is happening, but much clearer when distance is achieved. Expect much ghosting, perhaps on your end or someone else’s.

Mars will be opposite this Moon, which can cause explosive emotional outbursts and inflame tempers. Saturn will square Venus in Scorpio, making the energy around Venus more muted and solemn at this point.

The Sun, in Virgo at the opposite of the Moon, may see you examining your career or marriage or social set with more intense focus over the next two weeks of the lunar phase, in which the sun will move onto the next sign. This motion will encourage you to finish any open business and seek resolutions to any ongoing issues.

August 22, 2021 Aquarius Full Moon Astrology Forecast

Aquarius is shaking us up this week for the full moon of August 22. Aquarius is challenging us to look at things with different eyes. Aquarius wants us to get to know the radical, the new, the unusual and we have to engage with an open mind. We can’t continue with dualist thinking where everything is right or wrong and nothing in between. Now is a time for considering all the shades of gray we haven’t been working with. Now is the time.

The spiritual significance of the full moon will touch us on many levels, from the spiritual to the material. A conjunction with Jupiter will amplify and cast a light on your inner emotional life, and you may find yourself engaging in the occult, building new rituals, writing your thoughts down, and journaling. Enjoy this emotionally potent period and you will find validation by sharing and engaging with others. The orbit of happiness Jupiter in Aquarius indicates that you will receive a happy break or message that will excite you.

The Full Moon has the potential to amplify change, activate our longing for greater freedom and let us focus on what is necessary to transform our lives. The Full Moon in Aquarius gives us the feeling that we can accomplish things that we stalled by self-doubt, and the eccentricity that comes with the sign works cunningly to take us to new and interesting places. Our desire for adventure may well be satisfied this week with a push from Aquarius!

Aquarius offers us symbols of enlightenment of higher and greater truths that enable us to find closure and liberate ourselves from anything holding us back. The first Aquarian full moon last month was seen as the entry point of energy, the beginning of a cycle, and the second Aquarian full moon of the year will be seen as the completion and winding down of that energy. Looking back to the July 23 full moon to give yourself a fuller picture of your transformation, if this full moon feels incomplete in any way, that moon in July may point the way.

This full moon is also the culmination of a point that comes not only from August 8 in Leo – the opposite sign of Aquarius – but also from the new moon in Aquarius on February 11, 2021.

If you are a creative being, you may have to push through to find your inspiration. You may realize that it is necessary to redesign your living space, you feel an urge to nest and arrange things to your comfort. You may be experiencing some upheaval as a result of this full moon, but the silver lining is you can use this energy to clear out things and people that no longer serve you and create space for positive change.

The sun will also enter Virgo on the tails of this full moon lunation. This means Jupiter’s alignment with the Moon urges you to make quick decisions to improve your life. The truth is that you have to slow down and evaluate and reflect on the cosmic energy that drives you forward. Part of you will want to take it easy and reflect, but the faster moving energy will not grant you the time.

With the Sun at its furthest in the sky on August 22, independent of your zodiac sign, your energy and solar energy may feel exhausted. Even though you may feel a little low, there’s great momentum behind this full moon, so don’t get left behind.

During this time, the expansive planet Jupiter in Aquarius is retrograde and connects with the full moon in contrast to the sun.

The full moon represents inner life, the solar house, and public life. We are invited to unite as a collective and take our own unique paths. As the second full moon to strike Leo this season, the August full moon is also a blue moon –  adding to its unique rebelliousness.

July 23, 2021 – Aquarius Full Moon Astrology Forecast

This lunation, Venus is on the move from July 21 to August 15, and this is going to change the tone of things in our private lives. We’ve been swimming in a Cancer season, and so has Venus, but now she is looking toward the high flying lifestyle of Leo – dramatic, fun, and sexy. You may have been feeling the friction at home before when you were just trying to relax with a good book and a summer cocktail. Turns out, you may have been a bit ahead of yourself.

The full moon blossoms and will take your career with it when it meets Saturn there – you will be met with challenges. It can feel ruthless, depressing, constraining, and just as though you’re stuck in a rut. In order to get your spinning wheels unstuck, you may want to look at things differently and be less rigid in your plans. Learn how to bend instead of break and you will get more accomplished. These next few weeks will appreciate your shift in attitude, as Saturn will want you to build something that lasts.

The New Moon on July 9 may have forced us to look in the mirror, and we weren’t ready for what we saw there. This mood may have carried into other areas, for though the moon is courting that 1st degree in Aquarius where we let our freak flag fly, it may seem like you’re being picked on or forced into contrary directions. Every time you push your comfort zone, you’re getting pushed back.

If life feels boring and banal, the Aquarius full moon won’t stand for it. The Full Moon comes just in time to remind you of what is important and catapult you into change. During the full moon, the Sun, the ruler of your outer self, forms an exact opposition to the Moon. That uncomfortable look into the mirror you had on July 9th may be back again to shed light on the things we weren’t ready to address.

If you feel the desire to let go of something in your life during this Full Moon, you can start to get an intuitive pull or inspiration that a change is underway. This change may feel immaterial at the time of this Moon, but don’t worry, the next Aquarius Full Moon in August will help you see things more clearly.

This month’s full moon will offer something to everyone, regardless of sign. The gift of the full moon in Aquarius will come to us in the form of new experiences, an opportunity to walk through the door to new worlds awaiting us. This Full Moon in Aquarius will help you embrace your true best self and drive out the haters. Embrace yourself! And all that makes you unique, as Aquarius will highlight those qualities of yourself that make you special. That evening of July 23 and into the 24, we will reach the climax of the lunar cycle with a full moon in the sign of Aquarius. This is one of only two Aquarian full moons that we will experience over the next month. They will work together in harmonic dance. We will find out what shakes us up when an Aquarian full moon is associated with the next full moon on August 22.

The two-month transit ends on September 20, shifting the focus back to home, family and committed relationships. This week the sun exits dreamy, watery Cancer and enters the glamorous constellation Leo, and we come out of the energy building we had in Aquarius during the first two Full Moons as we move forward to enjoy those we love and plan for what is to come. This week’s energy feels fast as we move from one chapter to another, and the breath of fresh air that arrives with the full moon is when we realize that we are who we are supposed to be.

Pluto amplifies this energy, and we may have experiences that heighten our sense of the mysterious, the magical, and the ethereal. Enjoy the feeling! This will not only improve our lives without work or compromise and bring more domestic, family and committed relationships into our lives, but also bring more work into the transformation and growth of these areas in the coming months. With the Sun and Moon facing each other 180 degrees, July’s Full Moon will shine in all its glory.

You may feel driven to produce or engage in extra activity, and experience a level of ambition that makes you want to succeed. This may also lead to friction and frustration if you do not achieve that success, so check to make sure you haven’t set the bar too high and learn to engage in gratitude for what you already have while you’re shooting for the stars – you can do both! Take some time to relax while you’re conquering the world.

June 24, 2021 Capricorn Full Moon Astrology Forecast

This is a time of sensitive and fluctuating moods, and Cancer moon natives will feel this especially. A wonderful time to concentrate on arts, hobbies at home, aligning with the nourishing effects of water, helping loved ones, keeping shy from strangers and keeping one’s private life hidden from public view.

Capricorn Full Moon on June 24 at 3 degrees will be in close proximity to the Galactic Center, bringing us the potential for success, ambition, honesty and spirituality. This is an excellent lunar phase to repel lies and defy deception, carried through with the undercurrent of the solar eclipse from June 10. The spiritual significance of the full moon correlates with buoyant feelings, euphoria, and a desire to give more, and receive in turn.

This full moon in Capricorn at 3 degrees will create different types of tension, relating to the fact that the moon is least comfortable here, but still generous – the moon wants to be in Cancer, but has no choice but to be in its Fall in Capricorn, where it gazes upon the place it wishes to be. Whether this Full Moon brings a climax, achievement, end or turning point depends on where it falls in your rising Sun sign. Be aware that if you are a Cancer focused person with aspects relating to this house and sign, you may have a harder time expressing yourself emotionally during this time, but career may hold different challenges or successes if you are able to achieve a balance in this polarity.

The Full Moon falls in the house of career or public exposure, making the last days of the month ideal for a presentation or launching an important project you have been working on. This will not stop you from concentrating on what matters most to you. You might want to refer to June 14 and compare how this full moon affects you now, as that date was an important aspect involving a Saturn and Uranus square. You may feel the reverberations through this Capricorn moon, which is ruled by Saturn.

Your ambitions may come alive in both career and the public face of romantic relationships, forcing you to work for what you want in work and play, emotionally. Express how you feel and remind yourself that hard work has rewards, if you are patient. Stormy emotions will dominate the day of the Full Moon.

Earlier this month a new moon and solar eclipse opened new doors to you in the area of relationships. It would be fantastic if you could develop new relationships with your partner and do new things in bed together, but passion is not fuelled by love. Do not expect things to manifest immediately as these doors are special and can take a while to open.

Venus in the late degrees of Cancer may be reserving gratitude for you efforts in relationship. She may offer more potential for love and leisure, a time for play. With this Full Moon, the mood is set fore the betterment of relationships that you have been steadily nurturing, not only in romance but in teamwork and work partners. Investments will pay off, and it will be a doubly good time to seek out new investments, planting the seed now for greater fortune later.

The Sun in Cancer at 3 degress, and Venus at 27 degrees of Cancer, while Moon and Pluto (Earth) are in Capricorn, resulting in polarity. With Moon in Cancer, celebrate the success of long-term professionals and others with the notoriety and authority necessary to follow the call of your craft or knowledge in professional and employment life. As the Moon moves into Capricorn and your ambitious vocation house, your visibility and how your present yourself will illuminate the position you occupy in public.

This aspect promotes a little selfishness in a way that makes us take care of our own needs. A balance between these two energies must be found and this Full Moon invites us to do so. This builds us up in the time and energy that cosmos demands of us, but also lets us down.

Lean into a little work-life balance. Remember how you felt during the full moon and lunar eclipse of Sagittarius on April 26. The eclipses delivered their messages through to last month on May 26. Other energies will present messages on June 26, echoing in the aftermath of the lunar eclipse. This full Moon will also bring into focus all matters regarding work from home situations, remote work, and telecommuting as the energies of home and career are united, in the same way that the moon (home, private life) is united with the sign of Capricorn (career). The world is slowly and steadily transforming from the initial effects from the pandemic, and we may be a bit shell-shocked in this recovery phase as we pick up the pieces.

An optimistic and generous sextile to Jupiter will shine upon us. Take advantage of it when the opportunity for feasting, parties, and big thoughts arise. With more and more people getting vaccinated, there is a general cultural mood and desire for celebration. Jupiter will be inviting many to come out of their shell and party more. Moveable feasts will be around every corner as the world comes alive.

Mercury recently came out of retrograde on June 22 and is now in the shadow period. From now until July 7, your confused messages and thoughts from the past few weeks will begin to clear up. After three long and uncomfortable weeks of miscommunications, meltdowns and malfunctioning planets, communication will finally be back on track. Jupiter’s happy sextile will be in the mood to help you celebrate.

Full Moon Penumbral Eclipse July 5: Cancer-Capricorn Polarity

(Post may contain affiliate/paid links at the end.)

Full Moon Penumbral Lunar Eclipse at 13 Capricorn, July 5, 2020 12:44 AM

This time around we find ourselves at the next Penumbral full moon lunar eclipse. Over and over again we find ourselves presented with challenges by the planets, but perhaps none so much as eclipse season. How are you progressing in your journey of this incredible and vital life?

This time, we experience the eclipse on July 5, in the early morning hours of 12:44 EST. The moon positioned at 13 degrees of Capricorn, opposing the sun at 13 degrees of Cancer. The Capricorn – Cancer polarity is the overriding theme of this lunation. These cardinal signs encompass some of the most important elements of our lives. Cancer is ruled by the moon, and so is at his detriment in the sign of Capricorn, forced to look upon the place where he is at his happiest. This makes for a very unsatisfying eclipse.

Capricorn is the natural 10th house and is ruled by Saturn. Here, work and career is highlighted, rules and the status quo are of importance. We may have volatile emotions embedded in the career field now, nerves may fray, and the crossing of the moon through the 10th house may also, along with the power of the eclipse, usher in endings at the work place, or the endings of projects.

Our personal life may become the subject of public events. How that manifests will come down to individual charts, but expect more break ups between lovers, severed relationships of people who may have formerly been living together, and also, for career positions to come to an end – either expected, or unexpected.

With the sun in Cancer, we will feel nostalgic, we may wish to hang on to the comforts of home and the home environment. Perhaps all the remote work some have experienced is wearing thin, or the opposite has happened — a deeper desire to dig in has taken hold. This lunation will transform our work space, and transform our home space — and in some cases, those places will be one and the same.

Mercury tags along close to the sun, but not too close to be tightly conjunct in Cancer, at 7 degrees. Still moving retrograde, this does mean Mercury and the sun will pass each other, suggesting that Mercury is not only in retrograde and causing his usual amount of frustration, but that additionally as he comes closer and reaches combustion with the sun, communications will be harder and harder. Mercury will have continuing problems communicating effectively. Take a deep breath and be patient with everyone at home, and check the telecommunications equipment.

Venus is striving through Gemini, where she has tread before, but this time, going forward. She has been gaining clarity about her situation, and in the sign of Gemini, the twins, it would not be surprising if she is facing a choice between two lovers, two friends, two investments. Now comes the weighing of value between them all, and this full moon lunar eclipse is ripe for making permanent choices about which path to choose.

Venus sextiles Mars, who is at 4 degrees of Aries where he will remain for the majority of the year. Here, Mars is in his full power, happy to be in the sign he rules. Mars rules over the military, soldiers, warriors, but notably, also the police. Mars has great force, and in its most benevolent aspect, this force is intended to protect the weak, to safeguard those who cannot safe guard themselves. Mars at his best is a hero’s energy — giving of his spirit.

Mars forms a loose square to the sun and the moon. This harsh aspect will find force meets with frustration and that warrior energy will be tested, and it’s expression may not be so benevolent. However, this square is not exact; we may find that the real test is less an expression of violence, but more a transformation of warriors everywhere. Mars in Aries loves new beginnings, and pioneering. Mars is about to be taking down and reconsidering his old structures for new, since we have a retrograde on the horizon. Expect this moon to see a change in how aggression is dealt with. The resolution will accompany friction.

Saturn at 29 degrees of Capricorn and retrograde, is clustered with Pluto at 24 degrees, and Jupiter at 23 degrees. Saturn is coming back in to take care of unfinished business, and he will no doubt be reconfiguring the status quo to accommodate the huge generational changes that Pluto and Jupiter will usher in. Expect the law to be a recurring theme. Keep an eye on the Supreme Court Justices, for the landmark decisions they make during this period will echo for a generation to come.

The uglier aspect of this full moon eclipse is the Jupiter and Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. Pluto destroys and transforms, while Jupiter expands. This is a potent combination, and Jupiter is not happy to be in the constraining house of Saturn. We hope this conjunction passes us by with as little damage as possible, but I would expect to see corporations suffer serious blows, more struggles with economic constraints brought by the coronavirus, and unfortunately, the possible expansion of infection of the virus. This may be further exacerbated by aspect to Neptune in Pisces, who sextiles Pluto, bringing in the moist environment that some of have speculated gave rise to the virus as well, as the origin was indeed, a “wet market”, and between Pisces and Cancer, we have quite a bit of water to contend with.

Uranus at 10 degrees of Taurus is trining the moon in Cancer. He is a third of the way through his journey in Uranus, and we can see by now that changes have been made to the landscape specifically in terms of resources and values. While there are many thoughts on what more can we expect from this aspect – imminent legalization of marijuana, disruption in currency or cryptocurrency — there can be no clearer picture than what is emerging right in front of us, with the monumental job losses suffered in the United States thus far. The issue of resources will be not only those of earth, those of money, but also, those of spiritual mettle and character, as we confront difficulties that will force us to find the inner “gold” of alchemy.

Full Moon At 0° Cancer: Home Is Where The Heart Is – 12-22-2018

12-22-2018 Full Moon

When –
December 22, 2018 ~ 12:50 pm EST / December 22, 2018 ~ 17:50 pm UST

Corollary to New Moon at 0° of Cancer
July 12, 2018 ~ 10:49 pm EST / July 13, 2018 ~ 02:49 am UST

This lunation finds the sun poised at 0° of Capricorn and the moon at 0° of Cancer. We deal now with the polarity between interests of career and public, and those of the home life, the private life. The moon is dignified in this position where our emotions are firmly seated in our home life, and this should emphasize a desire to be in the realm of the home, to be more reflective.

Mercury at 10° Sagittarius will give boost to our communications and extra drive to those ventures involving the 9th house – an interest in foreign cultures, in publishing, in education and philosophy. This will be reinforced by a conjunction with Jupiter at 9° Sagittarius, making us more talkative, more chatty, more buoyant in our conversations. Our biggest problem will be not knowing when to stop, not knowing when to be silent!

Neptune will square this aspect at 13° of Pisces, and so this may be the area where we find our mouths getting us into trouble if we make promises we can’t keep, or alternatively, we might find ourselves lied to, or a disillusionment transpires – we will have to be faced with a choice: wake up from this illusion, or continue in blissful sleep, even if there is a cost later on.

Venus at 14° of Scorpio is dark and deep and sexy, and maybe even touched with a bit too much control, too much possession, hanging on to tightly to people and objects of material worth. She will trine Neptune at 13° Pisces, and this might make for a passionate circumstance in which we are swept off our feet. Considering the previous Mercury aspect, tread with caution, as the stage is set for the perfect seduction – as long as you know the risks of getting in over your head, you should be fine; if not, you might want to restrict your swimming to the shallow end. Neptune, after all, likes to dissolve. Boundaries might be hard to define, and Venus at 14° of Scorpio is more likely to deceive herself into having what cannot be possessed in matters of love and money.

Mars is at 23° of Pisces, where our sense of action and urgency is sluggish in the siren’s call of Pisces. We might also be more disposed to sacrifice our energy for others, to come to another’s aid, or pursue a hobby to the point of escaping reality. We might be compelled to spend a little more time than normal practicing that favorite riff on the guitar or in front of the game station.

Uranus at 28° Aries will trine the Sun at 0° Capricorn. A harmonious influence from the youthful Aries to the elder Capricorn, we might see an age gap between co-workers in a work space wherein the talents of everyone are pooled together for better results. The innovation that Uranus in Aries is equipped to bring will blend well with the Sun in Capricorn’s wise experience and full understanding of circumstance. Put on your thinking caps!

Black Moon Lilith at 15° of Aquarius will square Venus at 14° of Scorpio. There might be a woman who makes her presence known through her disapproval and will provide friction, either by being an obstacle or providing discipline. Black Moon Lilith and Venus have much to learn from each other, providing they can move past their conflict and listen. This will be the challenge of this aspect. Listen to the women in your life and see what they have to teach you about life, love, sex and power.

The North Node at 28° of Cancer will also trine Mars at 23° of Pisces in a watery aspect. We should strive to be fluid, then, for the North Node transiting the home sector will take us through aspects of our private life that need our attention. Mars in Pisces may harness this sense of fluidity and keep us moving quickly through the challenges we face as fated events move through our home life, our private life, and the place where we rest and recharge our batteries away from the public sphere.

The Gap or Crib. Causes love, friendship and society of fellow travelers, drives away mice, afflicts captives and causes their imprisonment. With moon here, navigate.

Full Moon at 7° Gemini: Retrograde and Tongue-Tied – 11-23-2018

11-23-2018 Full Moon

When –
November 23, 2018 ~ 12:41 pm EST / November 23, 2018 ~ 17:41 pm UST

Corollary to New Moon at 22° of Gemini
June 13, 2018 ~ 03:45 pm EST / June 13, 2018 ~ 7:45 pm UST

This lunation concerns itself with the Gemini-Sagittarius axis – our personal, local communications to our worldly, foreign affairs. There are quite a few changes in this lunation. Venus is stationing and no longer in retrograde motion, at 26° of Libra, dignified in a cardinal, relationship house.

However, Mercury has gone retrograde and is at 9° of Sagittarius. We can expect bumps in the road when it comes to our communications, contracts, conversations, and machinery.

The sun at 1° Sagittarius emphasis the happy go lucky sign of publishing, philosophy, and higher education and foreign cultures.

The moon at 7° of Gemini turns our private lives and emotional selves to concerns regarding siblings, short trips and communications. We can expect potential SNAFUs here, since Gemini is ruled by Mercury. We will feel the influence of this retrograde in our private and public lives, given that Mercury is also retrograde in Sagittarius, where the sun is transiting.

The sun at 1° Sagittarius will be square Mars at 4° Pisces, and conjunct Jupiter at 3° Sagittarius where Jupiter is dignified. This transit of Jupiter will add expansiveness to the sun, the Mercury retrograde and the aspect itself, making everything bigger, better, faster, more!

Yet, with a square from Mars in Pisces, we might face this clashing energy as a desire for over-indulgence that becomes an escape, and we will need to have self-discipline. Jupiter’s enthusiasm will make it difficult to put a damper on thing.

The moon at 7° Gemini will also be complicated by a square to Mars in Pisces, and perhaps our sluggish activity in foggy Pisces causes us to miss a deadline, or renege on a contract. Friction will be apparent, not as a result of combativeness that Mars can be known for, but a lack of action or combativeness.

In addition, the moon in Gemini undergoes opposition from both Jupiter and Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius. Our home life, where perhaps we were already experiencing Mercury related difficulties with short trips being canceled or delays, forgetting to pack items or losing our keys and being a day later or a dollar shorter, we will feel intrusions from the other side of this axis – responsibilities in our public/community life will need addressing, paperwork sorted and contracts re-drawn.

Mercury retrograde at 9° Sagittarius will square Neptune in Pisces at 13° and so we can expect confusion to play a role in any misunderstandings – make task lists and check them twice and be ready to changes things should new, more accurate information present itself. There might be deception afoot as well. A semi-square to Venus at a stand still at 26° Libra might be putting a romance on hold, or perhaps we are taking a long time to untangle someone’s dubious words.

Venus stationing at 26° Libra in the cardinal sign of relationships, will face and ongoing opposition with Uranus at 29° Aries, from last lunation. We are still reeling from a surprise in love, or arranging for a payment that was delayed, but these matters are in the final stages of completion when Venus will at last be in forward motion.

Sleepy Mars at 4° Pisces where he might be in a mood to move a little slower than usual, will semi-square Pluto at 19° Capricorn. Not a good time to make serious decisions in regard to gambling or money, as Mars will also square with Jupiter, making one prone to con games or spending too much at the casino table. It could be a deep time, a lovely time for good music and wine while we wait for the fog to lift. Play poker with matchsticks instead of money.

The north node, the area of fated events, occupies 29° of Cancer, the cardinal sign of home and private life. We may find ourselves being presented with challenges in the domestic sphere, where Venus at 26° Libra will square the node, indicating stress regarding relationships, such as marriage, and trine the sun at 1° Sagittarius, suggesting we might feel a pull to expand into new direction. Perhaps we will find ourselves hosting visitors from a foreign land, or seeking opportunities in education that shift our domestic responsibilities.

~6TH MANSION OF THE MOON – AL HAN’AH~

A brand or mark. Favourable for hunting, besieging towns, and the revenge of princes, destroys harvests and fruits and hinders the operation of the physician. With moon here, plough, sow but do not travel.
